Powder Game
Powder Game Review
Powder is a game that runs on Java Script, located on dan-ball.jp (this site can be translated into English, as .jp means Japan.) It’s a simulation in which you control many elements, such as Torch, C-4, Nitroglycerin, and Fireworks (my weapon of choice.) You can make anything you want. I’ve seen lava reactors, turrets, guns, a sink, and something random like a reaction making the words “end the war.” This game is limitless. You can almost do anything you want. I recommend you give it a try.
Mr. Mushroom
Today I am talking with the as-of-yet unknown cartoonist and drummer, Mr. Mushroom.
FTN:Where do you get your inspiration?
MM:I get my inspiration from the cartoonist Gary Baseman and his drawings.
FTN:When did you start drawing?
MM:I think I started when I was 2, but I'm not entirely sure. My drawings have, obviously, changed a lot since then.
FTN:When do you like to draw?
MM:I like to draw during school, which my teachers don't really like. I also like to draw before I have dinner.
FTN:What other hobbies do you have?
MM:I like to play the drums, especially Green Day music. I also like video games, T.V.,and talking to my friends.
FTN:Why do you like drawing?
MM:I don't know. It just sort of became a habit.
FTN:Have you made any comics?
MM:Yes, I think more than 10.
FTN:What do you draw?
MM:I draw really wierd, unique, out-of-the-ordinary, funky things.
FTN:What other art do you do?
MM:I work with clay, I play music. Otherwise, that's it.

Across The Universe
Across The Universe is a movie written around various Beatles songs into an elaborate love story. It starts with a British-sounding guy singing "Girl" by the Beatles on a beach. When the movie was starting, I was thinking, "oh my god, WHAT did I get myself into?"
The basic story is this: American girl likes American boy. British boy likes British girl. American boy gets drafted and dies. British boy goes to America for a better life. British boy meets American girl. They fall in love. They un-fall in love. They re-fall in love. All the while, yhey are singing Beatles songs. If you haven't seen it yet, I really think you should. But hey, do your own thing.
